Pakistan vs New Zealand T20 Series 2021

New Zealand will visit Pakistan in order to play 3 ODI and 5 T20I bilateral series in the month of September. But after the Taliban's invasion of Afghanistan, New Zealand's momentous visit to Pakistan is in jeopardy. Because of the security situation in the nation, the New Zealand Cricket Board is worried, and players have also stated their fears. If the tournament proceeds as intended, it will be New Zealand's first visit to Pakistan in 18 years. In the meanwhile, New Zealand wants to review the security conditions in Pakistan before making a final decision on the visit. As a result of the 2009 terrorism assault on the Sri Lankan cricket team vehicle in Lahore, New Zealand had not visited Pakistan since late 2003. Hope everything will be ok and the New Zealand vs Pakistan T20I series 2021 will continue as scheduled.

For the T20 World Cup, this campaign serves as a warm-up for the upcoming competition. Back in 2003, the Black Caps were beaten by the Pakistan team in five one-day internationals. In the next 12 months, the Zealanders have a jam-packed calendar. This year, New Zealand will play nine matches in the World Test Championships, in addition to their Pakistan visit and participation in the T20 World Cup (WTC).

Furthermore, a number of Kiwis players, including Kane Williamson and Lockie Ferguson, are expected to compete in the IPL's second leg in 2021 (IPL). The Black Caps' participation in the tournament had previously been clarified. From September 25 to October 3, the Gaddafi Stadium will host five Twenty20 Internationals. A thrilling home series of red and white-ball cricket would be "perfectly kicked off" with a series against New Zealand, according to PCB Chief Executive Wasim Khan.

In 2018, Pakistan defeated New Zealand and won the T20I series with a 2-1 win. Then in 2020, NZ got the chance to take revenge and they won the 3 matches T20I series with a 2-1 win.
