The Ireland versus Bangladesh ODI series 2020 is going to be an upcoming tri-match series which will be hosted by Ireland in May 2020. The ODI series is a part of inaugural ICC Cricket World Cup Super League 2020-22 and hence is extremely crucial for both the teams. The ODI series will kick-start on May 14 and will continue till May 19, 2020. It will be followed by 4 T20 matches that will conclude Bangladesh cricket team’s tour to Ireland in May-June 2020. All the matches will be played in Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast. It implies players won’t have to travel much and there will be less exhaustion before every match.
The Bangladesh cricket team is currently busting in joy given the comeback of two most important players of the squad. Veteran batsman Tamim Iqbal is once again back to the squad to support the team with his powerful batting. Another great player who has made to the team once again is right-arm pacer Rubel Hossain. No wonder, Bangladesh cricket squad is brimming in confidence once again and can’t wait to give their best shots on the field.
The Irish cricket team is passing through a rough patch lately and has suffered a massive defeat by the West Indies cricket team of late. But, just let’s hope the team would be able to come out of the rocky phase as soon as possible and bring back the winning spirit. The Irish team also has the added advantage of support from home crowd which Bangladesh won’t have this time. Loud cheer and constant support from home fans is anyday inspiring for any team. Hopefully, the Ireland team won’t have a similar fate with Bangladesh the way it had with West Indies lately. We are expecting to witness a solid game of passion and power in the ODI series.
