All the fans of Chennai must be having good times, as there team, finally recorded the much needed win. Now the way for their semis, is partially clear. All the way through, Chennai did very good this time in terms of bowling department. As it shows, the bowling by the faster bowler, Ashish Nehra, was really good and he provided the early break through that the team needed.

But the foundation of this was laid when chennai came for batting first. Sadness was that, all the top order batsman for chennai were not able to score big, and it was looking like that, Chennai will be heading to a low score. But then the good innings by the Jadega and accompanied Dhoni, made sure that they reach to a decent fighting score of 155 runs in 20 overs.

Perth, was disciplined with their bowling attack. But the opening batsman, Voges and Simmons, did provided the much needed start, but could not able to convert it to the best score. After their dismissal, the whole team, could not stand back, to chase the score of 155 runs. They fell short of 13 runs and the victory was in the hands of Chennai Super Kings. Ashton Turner, did provided some fight in the end. Ravinder Jadega was the man of the match.
