West Indies dominate Ireland to qualify as the 4th team from Pool B - The 41st match of the World Cup 2015 was played between United Arab Emirates and West Indies. It was a Pool B game and was one of the most important for the West Indies. It was this match that the team needed to win with a great margin so as to increase their run rate if they wanted to qualify over Ireland. This was their last hope and so after winning the toss they decided to bowl first.

Batting first UAE failed to have a start they lost too many wickets and it seemed that the West Indies bowlers will be bowling them out under a score of 100. The UAE openers and middle order failed to produce runs as the batting line-up collapsed and were at 46/6 in 14 overs. This was one of the best start West Indies team could have imagine. Jason Holder and Jerome Taylor ran havoc. Amjad Javed and Nasir Aziz played an important role for UAE as they setup a nice partnership between them. Amjad scored 56 runs while Nasir scored 60 runs to take their team to a total of 175 runs. The UAE team was bowled out at 175 in 48th over of the game. Taylor took 3 wickets while Holder took 4 wickets to provide West Indies an advantage in this match.

It was an easy target for West Indies but they needed this score in a less number of overs so as to have a healthy net run rate. Dwayne Smith once again failed to score much as he lost his wicket after scoring only 15 runs. Marlon Samuels too lost his wicket after scoring only 9 runs. It was Johnson Charles and Jonathan Carter who took charge of scoring runs. They scored 55 and 50 respectively. Charles lost his wicket after scoring 55 runs but Carter continued and made sure that the team crossed the line in 31st over. Jason Holder was named as the man of the match as West Indies qualified as the 4th team in Pool B.
