Titans win an easy match against the Hyderabadi’s - The 12th match of the Champions League T20 saw the Titans come against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the JSCA International Stadium at Ranchi. The Titans won the toss in the match and elected to field first. The Opening pair of the Sunrisers yet again gave a good start to the team as they score 62 runs in just 6.3 overs of the game. Shikhar Dhawan after scoring 37 runs off 21 balls lost his wicket. Soon after 2 overs Parthiv Patel too lost his wicket scoring 26 runs. This opened up the gates for the Titans to enter in as wickets started to fall easily. Jean Paul Duminy scored 17 runs while Thisara Perera scored 11 runs. The team looked to have lost their path after a great start and it seemed that the team would not be able to score a below par score. Dale Steyn did the magic for the team as he scored 27 runs in just 12 balls. The Sunrisers managed to score only 145 runs in the 20 overs which seemed to be a distant dream once. David Wiese took 3 wickets in the match.

The Titans got off to a great start scoring 112 runs for the 1st wicket. Jacques Rudolph scored 49 runs while Henry Davids scored 64 runs in the start. They scored 112 runs in just 12.1 overs and the match was almost over for the Sunrisers. Later Heino Kuhn scored 15 runs to win the match in just 16.3 overs. It was a win for the South African side rather an easy one. Henry Davids won the man of the match award as the Titans earned the important 4 points from the match that will be helpful in taking the team to the next round of the Champions League T20.
