Sylhet Royals Cricket Team

Sylhet Royals is the first class domestic team of Bangladesh cricket which represents Sylhet region of Bangladesh and is formed to play in Bangladesh Premier League. The team was formed in the year 2012 along with Bangladesh Premier League. The team is owned by Nafeesa Kamal, Lotus Kamal Group. The Lotus Kamal Group has made the winning bid of $1.06 million to get franchise of the team. The team has got Sylhet Stadium as their home ground. The team made its debut to the Bangladesh Premier League against Barisal Burners. The team’s performance in the tournament was quite poor and the team stood at the last place by the end of the tournament.
