The 47th match of IPL 2020 was played at Dubai International Stadium Dubai on 27th October between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad Team was led by David Warner while Delhi was captained by Shreyas Iyer. DC won the toss and chose to bowl first.

It was the day of SRH as the opening pair of David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha played amazingly. They not only gave a firm start to the team but also hit strokes to capture more runs and placed team in a commanding position. They made a partnership of 107 runs in 58 balls only. It was the 10th over when DC got a breakthrough in the form of Warner’s wicket. He made 66 runs in 34 balls only. In the 15th over Saha also got out at an individual score of 87 runs. Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson played till the completion of 20th over where Pandey made not out 44 runs in 31 balls while Williamson made not out 11 runs. The bowling attack from DC was almost edgeless as they got only two wickets in 20 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Anrich Nortje each got one wicket. To win the game, SRH set a huge task of 220 in front of DC.

From DC Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan started the inning but could not give a firm start to the team as in the first over Dhawan got out without opening account also. In the second over, Marcus Stoinis, who replaced Dhawan also got out, and hence the score of the team was 14/2. Shimron Hetmyer and Rahane tried to balance the inning, but Hetmyer also got out at a score of 16. Soon Rahane and Shreyas Iyer were also returned to pavilion at an individual score of 26 and 7 respectively. Rishabh Pant tried well to play consistently, but on the other side, one by one player returned to the pavilion. Axar Patel, Kagiso Rabad and Ravichandran Ashwin could also not sustain and returned at the personal score of 1, 3 and 7 respectively. At the end of 19 overs DC got all out at 131 runs, and hence SRH won the match by a huge margin of 88 runs. From SRH Rashid Khan was the most successful bowler who got 3 wickets. Wriddhiman Saha was declared as the player of the match for his grand inning of 87 runs in 45 balls only.
