Trio Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das, and Soumya Sarkar excelled as they scored 41runs in 33 balls, 59 runs in 39 balls and 62 runs in 32 balls respectively. It was a below-par bowling performance as Zimbabwe could only take 3 wickets. Christopher Mpofu allowed 58 runs in just 4 overs. In the 2nd innings of the match, Zimbabwe was given a target of 201 runs in 20 overs with a require run-rate above 10 runs per over. Their batting line-up performed terribly, not a single batsman could take his tally above 28 runs. They managed to score 152 runs in 19 overs before all of them were sent back to the pavilion. The Bangladeshis gave an outstanding bowling performance. None of their bowlers conceded more than a total of 34 runs.
