English captain won the toss and elected to field first. On batting first Pakistan openers gave a good start to team and made 72 runs for the 1st wicket. Captain Babar Azam scored 56 runs for Pakistan and lead team from front. Mohammad Hafeez gave speed to Pakistan inning and made brilliant 69 runs in just 36 balls. Pakistan made 195 runs in their 20 over and gave a huge target of 196 runs to English team. Adil Rashid took 2 wickets for England team.
It was a target of 196 runs and Jonny Bairstow opened the inning for England along with Tom Banton. They made 66 runs opening partnership. Bairstow made 44 runs in just 24 balls and gave a good start to team. Captain Morgan also played brilliant inning and made 66 runs in just 33 balls. He took England very close to victory. Dawid Malan played not out match winning inning. He made 54 runs in just 36 balls. The way Malan played the spin bowling attack of Pakistan was absolutely pleasure to watch. It was looking difficult for Pakistan bowlers to bowl Morgan and Malan. They both played very smartly and took game away from Pakistan. He helped England to win the match.
England made 199 runs in 19.1 over and won the game. England won the match by 5 wickets. Leg spin bowler Shadab Khan took most 3 wickets for Pakistan. English captain Eoin Morgan was selected as player of the match for his brilliant inning of 66 runs which helped England to win the match. England took lead by 1-0.
