The Maulana Azad Stadium is situated in Jammu & is one among the home grounds for the cricket team of Jammu & Kashmir. The stadium is set up on Tawi banks & has been named after Abul Kalam Azad, one of the legendary freedom fighters of India. The Jammu based stadium has been hosting home cricket matches for Jammu & Kashmir domestic tournaments. Till date the stadium has hosted one One Day International match which was in the year 1988 in between India & New Zealand. The stadium has also hosted 1 women’s Test cricket match between India & New Zealand and India & West Indies in 1985.
