The 3rd and final match of the T20 International series between South Africa and England was played on February 16, Sunday, at SuperSport Park, Centurion in South Africa. It was the last match of the series and also the series-deciding match. The series was leveled by 1-1, and both the teams wanted to win the game or series.

South African skipper Quinton De Kock won the toss and decided to bat first. The openers gave a solid start to the team and made an opening partnership of 84 runs. T.Bavuma played brilliant inning and unfortunately left 1 run short to a half-century. Klaasen played unbelievable innings of 66 runs in just 32 balls and helped the team to put a good score on board. Miller finished the inning in style and helped the team to make 222 runs in 20 over. So it was a big chase for England to win the series.

England opener Roy failed to give an excellent start to the team and got out early of the innings on 7 runs. But wicketkeeper-batsman Buttler and Batsman Bairstow made a good partnership for 2nd wicket of 91 runs. Each of them scored a half-century. Buttler scored 57 runs, and Bairstow helped with 64 runs and helped England team to reach the total. England captain Morgan played an unbelievable match-winning knock and made not out 57 runs in just 22 balls. England chased the target 5 balls spared. Morgan hit the ball effectively and played a good solid match. England skipper Eoin Morgan was selected for the player of the match award for his brilliant match-winning knock. England won the match by 5 wickets and 5 balls to spare. England also won the series by 2-1 and defeated South African team at their home. Captain Morgan appreciated the performance of boys while South Africa captain looked sad and disappointed with the fielding and bowling performance of the team.
