The first one day international between New Zealand and Sri Lanka will be played at HAGLEY oval Christchurch on 26th December. It is the same ground where BRENDON MICCULUM scored his fastest century. The pitch will have lots of grass and is known to assist the pacers. BOULT and COREY ANDERSON are expected to fire and cause trouble to the SRI LANKAN batsman. The outfield is very fast, therefore the batsmen will get full value for their shots. SRI Lankan batsmen have to time the ball well if they want to put up a decent fight before the kiwis. Similarly LAKMAL and co need to fire Yorkers in order to control the start studded batting line up of the Black caps.
