Pakistan seal the series against Zimbabwe after a great trouble - The Zimbabwe team may have lost the 1st T20 but they definitely won hearts during the 1st match. The team later met the home team for the 2nd match on 24th of May. This was a must win game for Zimbabwe in order to save the series as they were 1-0 down in a 2 game series. After winning the toss Zimbabwe once again decided to bat first once again.

The Zimbabwe openers gave their team a great start once again. Vusi Sibanda and Hamilton Masakadza scored 68 runs. It took 8.3 overs for the openers to score the runs. Masakadza scored 39 runs before losing his wicket. Sibanda though continued to bat well along with Sean Williams. They took the score to 136 runs in 17th over. Sibanda scored 49 runs before losing his wicket. Elton Chigumbura chipped in with a 9 ball 21 runs to give the team quick runs. Williams scored 58 runs in 32 balls. This innings helped the team a lot with the bat to score 175 runs in 20 overs. This was an above par score which solidify the stature of team in the match.

Pakistan needed to score 176 runs in 20 overs to seal the series. The openers Mukhtar Ahmed and Ahmed Shehzad scored 44 runs for the 1st wicket. They scored these runs in 4.5 overs. Shehzad was the 1st to go after scoring 18 runs. Nauman Anwar joined in with Ahmed and took the team to a score of 81 runs in 8.3 overs. Anwar lost his wicket after scoring 18 runs. Shoaib Malik was unable to score much as he lost his wicket after scoring only 7 runs. Ahmed scored 62 runs before losing his wicket. Pakistan was at 117/4 in 14th over. It seemed that the visitors were making a comeback as the wickets continued to fall. The team was able to take 8 wickets. The home team was in danger of losing the match but at the end managed to seal the series with 2 balls remaining. Mukhtar Ahmed was once again named as the man of the match.
