This match featured Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on the Rajasthan Royals. This was the 2nd match to be played between these two teams. After winning the toss in this match Rajasthan Royals decided to field first.

Batting first the Bangalore side had a poor start. Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli lost their wickets early. The team was suffering at 19/ in 3rd over of the game. AB de Villiers the superman of cricket came to bat and scored 57 runs of 45 balls. He was helped on by Mandeep Singh who scored 27 runs off 20 balls. Dinesh Karthik too scored 27 runs before losing his wicket. the team seemed to be moving towards the score of 160 but Sarfaraz Khan came into bat and changed the shape of the game. he scored 45 runs off 21 balls to take the team to score of 200 runs in 20 overs.

The match always had the chance of rain and it came pouring down in the innings break. The score of 200 went in vain as the match was washed out and the points were shared between them.
