The Birmingham team represents the counties of Worcestershire and Warwickshire. The men’s team will be coached by Andrew McDonald while Ben Sawyer has been appointed as the coach of the women’s team. Edgbaston and New Road are the homegrounds of men’s and women’s teams respectively. The team is backed by some of the great players including Kane Williamson, Sophie Divine, Moeen Ail, Pat Brown, Amy Jones and so on. Birmingham Phoenix will have its first match in The Hundred 2021 on July 18, against London Spirit, at Edgbaston. It’s the second match of the tournament and first home match for the team.
