Every team from Pakistan has one common problem of batting. It has been a matter of concern for the team and it showed in the match as the batsmen failed to apply them in the game. The wickets fell too early for the tam and they were 7/37 in just 10 overs. It was a worst position to be in for any team chasing a score of 171. Saeed Nasim was the lone player from the Lions who managed to score 58 runs in the match. Rest of the players never managed to reach a double figure score in the match. The whole team was bowled out at a score of 98 runs. Tim Southee took 3 wickets in the game and was the best bowler for the team and he also won the OPPO man of the match award.
