An All-round performance help Bangladesh complete the white wash against Zimbabwe - The 3rd and the final test match of the series was a mere formality as Bangladesh had already won the series as they were winning by 2 matches. The match was being played at Zahur Ahmed Choudhury Stadium in Chittagong. After winning the toss the home team decided to bat first.

The openers provided a great start to the team as they together scored 224 runs for the 1st wicket. Tamim Iqbal scored 109 runs before losing his wicket. Imrul Kayes was the next player to go after scoring 130 runs. These two teams ensured that the team had a great start to the match and the team ended their 1st day of test at a score of 303/2.

The 2nd day of the match
saw the home team tightening their grip on the match. Mominul Haque scored 48 runs while Shakib Al Hasan scored 71 runs. These two players ensured that the team bats the opposition out of the match. Rubel Hossain came in late and scored 45 runs in the innings to help his team reaching the score of 503 runs in the 1st innings. Bangladesh declared the innings at tea. Zimbabwe too got off to a good start as Sikandar Raza and Hamilton Masakadza scored 82 and 81 runs respectively. They ended the day at 113 runs losing only 1 wicket.

The 3rd day saw the Zimbabwe lose some wickets but at the same time runs kept coming. Regis Chakabva and Elton Chigumbura scored 65 and 88 runs respectively. The lower order collapsed for the visiting team as they reached a score of 374 runs in the 1st innings. Jubair Hossain was the man for Bangladesh as he took 5 wickets in the innings. Bangladesh ended the day at 23/0 with both the openers still at crease.

The 4th day
saw home team getting a good grip to the match. They batted the visitors out of the team. Tamim scored 65 runs while Mominul scored 131 runs in the innings. Mushfiqur Rahim came late down the order and scored 46 runs to take the score to 319 runs. Zimbabwe were seen a score of 449 runs. Zimbabwe ended the 4th day of the test at a score of 71/1 with Sikandar and Hamilton on crease.

The 5th day it was good to see whether the visitors will draw the match or the home side will take the remaining 9 wickets to ensure victory. Hamilton after scoring 38 runs lost his wicket at the start of the day. Regis Chakabva and Raza tried to control the innings but Raza after scoring 65 runs lost his wicket as well and thus it opened all the gates for the home team. They marched in to bowl Zimbabwe out at a score of 262 runs. With this the team won the 3rd and the final test match by 186 runs. Mominul Haque was named as the man of the match and Bangladesh won the series 3-0.
