Sri Lankan cricket team right after the South Africa tour will be moving for an Australian tour. In this tour of Australia they are scheduled to play only the shorter format of the game. The tour will feature a T20 series which will comprise of only 3 T20 matches before the home team moves to India for their long tour. This series has all the elements of being a cracker of a series which will see two of the best teams come up to fight against each other. The pundits of the cricket has already predicted the series to be evenly poised for both the teams as over the past the touring nation has had no difficulties in coping with the environment and pitches of Australia.
Both the teams have a good combination of some hard hitting batsmen and good bowlers. The 1st match of the series will be played on 17th of February at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This match will be played under the lights as it officially is scheduled to start at 19:40 local time. Moving from the MCG the teams will be playing their 2nd match of the series on 19th of February. This match will be played at the Simonds Park. This match will also be a night match and will be starting at 19:20 local time. The third and the final match of the tour will be played on 22nd of February. This match will be played at the famous Adelaide Oval. The match will be starting at 19:20 local time.
