David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan led Sunrisers Hyderabad to a simple victory against Chennai Super Kings in the 50th match of IPL 7 at JSCA International Stadium Complex, Ranchi with 6 wickets to spare. Chennai Super Kings batted first in the match and managed to put up a high total of 185 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Dwayne Smith and Faf du Plessis opened the innings for Chennai as Brandon Brendon mccullum was unavailable for the match. Dwayne Smith started off the innings quite decently as he does in every other match, but du Plessis failed to support him as he gone early by just scoring 19 runs of 11 balls. After that Chennai also lost the wicket of Suresh Raina very quickly, he scored just 4 runs of 7 balls. Dwayne Smith was undone by the brilliance of Karn Sharma, he scored 47 runs in just 28 balls.

David Hussey and MS Dhoni was marvelous as they added 86 runs in the last 6 overs, that was some real time entertainment in the match, but that couldn’t help CSK to win the match as their bowlers performed poorly neither Hyderabad’s bowlers performed well in the match, only Karn Sharma bowled an exceptional spell against CSK, he claimed 2 wickets and conceded only 19 runs in his 4 overs.

Once again SRH made a strong opening partnership while chasing a quite big target. David Warner smashed all over the ground from the very beginning of the second innings to release the pressure on CSK. He scored 90 runs in just 45 balls to clinch the Man of the Match award yet again, Dhawan supported him well with his unbeaten innings of 64 runs in just 49 balls.

CSK bowlers relly performed poorly as they failed to defend the target of 186 runs, all the bowlers were quite expensive in the match. Anyway, Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and John Hastings shared the 3 wickets of Hyderabad equally.
