The audience of Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi yet again experienced a complete team performance from RAJASTHAN ROYALS as they defeated DELHI DAREDEVILS by 7 wickets. Well, in the 23rd game of IPL 7 RR won the toss and sent DD to bat first. Quinton de Kock and Murali Vijay opened the innings for Delhi Daredevils, but Murali Vijay went early by just scoring 13 runs of 11 balls. Well, on the other hand De Kock played a steady innings of 42 runs of just 33 balls. While batting in the No.3 position Kevin Pietersen (C) was run out but unfortunately umpire ruled it a clear not out. Anyway, even after that wrong decision Pietersen couldn’t do such harm to RR as he scored only 14 runs of 15 balls. In the near end of the first innings JP Duminy (39 of 31 balls) and Kedar Jadhav (28 of 14 balls) helped DD to put up a score of 152 runs on their board.

Well, Rajasthan has an amazing formula to utilize the talent of infamous players as they used Pravin Tambe beautifully; yet again Tambe gave a remarkable performance as he took 2 valuable wickets by just conceding 25 runs in his allotted 4 overs. James Faulkner, the man back in form has also took 2 wickets with the economy rate of 6.5.

While chasing a very easy total in a surface like Feroz Shah Kotla RR started it well, but they lost a early wicket of Ajinkya Rahane (12 of 10 balls). That early blow seemed nothing for RR as another young talent for Rajasthan Karun Nair played a spectacular unbeaten innings of 73 runs in just 50 balls. Anyway, the rest of the job was done by Sanju Samson (W) (34 of 28 balls) and Shane Watson (C) ( 16 of 10 balls).

RR has done a little experiment with Rajat Bhatia by sending him to bat at the top of the order. However, he went back to pavilion by scoring 17 quick runs in 13 balls. Among the bowlers of DD Shahbaz Nadeem, Mohammed Shami and Wayne Parnell shared 3 wickets of RR equally.

That’s it; The Man of the Match award was given to Karun Nair for his amazing batting display.
