Darren Bravo and Denesh Ramdin helps in winning the 3rd ODI - The 3rd ODI between the West Indies and Bangladesh was to be played in St Kitts stadium. The match was the last one for the series which was already being led 2-0 by West Indies. It was just a mere formality as the series has already been won by the home side. After winning the toss the home side decided to bat first. For visitors it was a game played for pride and they got a great start as successfully took 2 wickets in just 5 overs. It seemed that the game will be a good fighting one but the things soon changed for the West Indies. After getting a bad start Darren Bravo and Denesh Ramdin controlled the innings well with some sensible batting. These two batsmen together had a massive partnership of 258 runs. These two batsmen took their team to a total of 270 in 42.4 overs giving them a good position in the match. Bravo was the 1st one to leave after scoring 124 runs. Later Kieron Pollard joined in Ramdin in search for runs and before things could have gone worse the Bangladesh side took some wickets to give a check on the runs. The Home side scored 338 runs in the end of 50 overs as Ramdin scored 169. Al-Amin Hossain took 4 wickets in the match.

The Bangladesh side didn’t get a good start while chasing the huge target. In 2 overs the team lost 2 wickets cheaply. Later Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim showed some talent and took their team to a score of 101. Tamim Iqbal after scoring 55 got out in the 22nd over. Rahim in this match scored 72 runs and apart from these two batsmen no player was able to score big. The middle order was able to score only 20’s or 30’s. Thus the team was able to score only 247 runs at the end of 50 overs. Ravi Rampaul took 4 wickets in the match that helped in completing a white wash in the series. Denesh Ramdin was named as the man of the match for his great batting performance.
