The third battle(match) of the Asia Cup 2014 is to be fought between the little experienced Afghanistan and Pakistan, the defending champions. The venue of the match is set as Fatullah. Afghanistan is added as the fifth nation to the other four teams fighting for the Asia Cup. The Afghan team is said to be improving with time and looks forward to play against the biggies of the cricket playing nations. A quest to gain experience of the elite level beside competing with them for the Cup. With World Cup qualification all seem to be going well for this side. Bright! The last Asia Cup saw Pakistan winning the tournament beating Bangladeshis who gave them a tough fight. Pakistan also won the tournament in the year 2000 when it defeated Sri Lanka by 39 runs. The defending champions Pakistan has players promising some real action in the stadium this tournament. Although there was uncertainty regarding the Pakistani side showing up in Asia Cup this year but the decision went in favour of the team's participation in the event, much to the comfort of the cricket loving fans all over the world.
