Debutant Netherland’s Surprise the English side

The spirited team of Netherland faced the depleted side of England in the group 1 match in Chittagong. The Dutch before this match never won a single point in super 10 stage but they definitely won millions of hearts. England won the toss and decided to field first. Myburg and Barresi scored at a good pace before getting out. As the top order of the Dutch ensured that they reach a respectable score but the middle order failed to set a mark and the Dutch ended their innings at 133. Broad was the pick of the bowler for England as he took 3 wickets. 

The England batsmen failed yet again in the match and only three players were able to get into double figures. The English while chasing the target of 134 were bowled out for just 88 runs. The highest scorer for the English side was Bopara who scored only 18. While Bukhari and Beek were the two most successful bowlers for the Dutch as they took 3 wickets each. Bukhari was declared the player of the match for his wonderful performance against the English side. With this win in Chittagong the Dutch were successful in posting their 1st win of the super 10 stage.
