Indian Spin Their Way Towards Victory Against The West Indies

The current 50 over champions faced the defending champions of T20 in a group match in Mirpur. This match promised to be a great entertainer as both India and West Indies had match winners in their team. India after the win over their arch rivals looked confident to win their second game. After winning the toss they put the West Indies to bat first. The T20 Champions failed to make a good start and soon the wickets started to tumble. The Indian spinners were able to choke the batsmen for run as a result no player was able to give an outstanding performance as the team only managed to get 129 runs on the board. Jadeja was able to scalp 3 wickets while Mishra took 2. 

The Indian chase was well controlled as Rohit Sharma and Kohli played a well-controlled innings. Sharma scored 62 runs off 55 balls while Kohli scored 54. Both the batsmen ensured before getting out that their team have reached in touching distance to the total. The men in blue used the condition well to their strength and pressurised the opposition to crumble. The leggie from India Amit Mishra was awarded the player of the match award for his economical bowling. With two matches to go India look favourites to reach the semis of the tournament.
